On Saturday, June 11, 2011, the Worcester Hibernian Cultural Centre will host the second annual Irish soda bread contest as a key event at its annual three day Worcester Irish Music Festival.

Contestants may enter into any one or both categories:
- Traditional Irish White; or
- Traditional Irish Brown;

There will be two prizes awarded: a Juried Prize determined by a panel of judges and a People's Choice prize determined by Festival go-ers.

Entries must be dropped off between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM at the Temple Street Festival Admission's Gate. Winners will be announced at approximately 6PM. Read the contest rules and entry form for details.

There is a $5 fee registration which entitles the contestant to enter either or both bread categories. Contestants must also provide two loaves of the entered bread (one loaf will be used for the juried contest, the other will be used for the people's choice contest). Each contestant may submit only one entry in each category.
